# How can I assign specific permissions to users?

You can set permissions for the users by using [IAM policies](https://docs.cubbit.io/guides/iam-policy).

For example, you can grant one or more users read, write, and delete permissions on a bucket, file, or folder, or assign permissions to operate on other users (invite or remove them from a project, for instance).
